  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a big announcement on the occasion of 'Guru Parv' on 9 January 2022.
  • This day is the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh ji.
  • This day will be celebrate to tribute to the courage and pursuit of justice of the Sahibzadas (Guru Gobind Singh's sons).
  • Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh were martyred on 26 December 1704 for the protection of religion. In his memory, Veer Baal Diwas will be celebrated every year on 26th December.
  • Born at Patna Sahib in Bihar, Guru Gobind Singh was the 10th and last of Sikh gurus in human form. He was enthroned at the 'Guru Gaddi' at the age of nine, following the martyrdom of his father, the ninth Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
