Ministry of Mines unveils ‘Aspirational DMF Programme’ to enhance regional development:

The Union Ministry of Coal and Mines has launched the ‘Aspirational DMF Programme’, designed to align the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) initiatives with the Aspirational District and Block Programmes. Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy announced the operational guidelines during the National DMF Workshop in New Delhi. The new framework aims to strategically channel DMF resources to uplift socio-economic conditions in India’s most disadvantaged regions. A Coffee Table Book 2.0 was also released at the event, showcasing impactful projects funded by DMFs in mining-affected areas across the country.
