  • Terming his behaviour “irresponsible”, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad on Sunday expelled his eldest son and Hasanpur MLA Tej Pratap Yadav from the party for six years.
  • Sources said that Mr. Tej had on Saturday announced on social media that he had been “in a relationship for 12 years” with a woman.
  • Later, the post was not found, and Mr. Tej claimed that his Facebook page had been “hacked”.
  • He did not file any police complaint with regard to the “hacking” of his social media account.
  • In 2018, Mr. Tej and Aishwarya Rai, granddaughter of former Chief Minister of Bihar Daroga Prasad Rai, filed for divorce within five months of their wedding.
