  • The Indian Finance Minister also inaugurated a branch of the State Bank of India in Trincomalee.
  • Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena also attended the event.
  • India-Sri Lanka Business Summit will also be organized during this visit of Nirmala Sitharaman.
  • The theme of this summit is 'Enhancing Connectivity: Partnership for Prosperity'.
