India to train 1,500 bureaucrats of Bangladesh in next five years

  • The government of India has renewed its commitment to train 1500 Bangladeshi officers from 2025 to 2030, as per the agreement signed between the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Government of India, and the Bangladeshi Ministry of Public Administration, Government of Bangladesh.
  • During a 3-day visit to Bangladesh from April 28 to April 30, 2024, a 4-member DARPG delegation led by V. Srinivas, Secretary, DARPG, focused on enhancing mid-career capacity-building programs in field administration for Bangladesh Civil Servants, culminating in the signing of the MoU aimed at further strengthening bilateral cooperation in this domain.
