India-Australia partnership for green hydrogen and renewable energy launched

  • Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Albanese launched the India-Australia Renewable Energy Partnership at the Australia-India Annual Summit held in Brazil on 19 November 2024, which will give direction to the climate and energy cooperation of the two countries.
  • The partnership will see cooperation on 8 key areas, including solar energy, green hydrogen, energy storage, and commercialization of renewable energy technologies, and the two countries will jointly build the renewable energy workforce.
