The COP-28 summit is being held in the United Arab Emirates.
Recently at the COP-28 summit, IIT Mandi has been awarded the Green University Award.
This award has been given to the institute for the work and efforts being made in relation to environmental protection.
This award was given to Dr. Deepak Swami on behalf of IIT Mandi.
Green Mentors non-governmental organization has special consultative status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council in the United States.
IIT. Mandi has been given this award for the sustainable work being done for the environment, its comprehensive commitment towards them and the institute's holistic approach towards environmental protection initiatives.
