  • The first-ever life-size statue of Swami Vivekananda was unveiled in Westlake Square, downtown Seattle, on April 11, 2026.
  • The bronze statue was jointly unveiled by Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson and India’s Consul General Prakash Gupta.
  • Gifted by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), it symbolises India-US cultural ties and Vivekananda’s message of universal brotherhood.
  • Located in a high-footfall area, the statue is expected to promote Indian philosophy among global audiences.
