  • Algeria inaugurated the world's third-largest mosque ahead of Ramadan.
  • Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebbon officially opened Dzmai el-Alzir, located on the country's central coast.
  • The highest minaret of this mosque is the tallest in the world, standing at an altitude of 265 meters (869 feet).
  • Dzmai el-Aljeer is one of the largest mosques in the world by capacity and can accommodate 120,000 people.
  • Considering the vastness and beauty of this mosque, it has been built in seven years and is decorated with marble, wooden computers with exquisite accents.
  • This mosque has a library that can handle a million books and also has a helicopter landing pad.
