  • Alexander Lukashenko won the Belarus presidential election for the seventh consecutive time, securing 86.82% of the votes, while his closest rival received only 3.21% of the votes.
  • Following the 2022 constitutional amendment, a two-term limit will be enforced after this election; prior to this, Lukashenko has been in office since 1994.
