Recently the Periodic Labor Force Survey report was released.
According to this report, women's participation in MNREGA has increased to 59.25%.
This participation is the highest in the last 10 years.
The participation rate of women in MNREGA in the year 2022-23 was 57.47%.
Whereas in the year 2021-22 this participation was 54.82%.
Kerala is the state with highest participation of women in MNREGA.
Women participation in MNREGA in Kerala is 89%.
Tamil Nadu ranks second with 86% female participation.
Women's participation in MNREGA is less than 40% in North Indian states.
