In the Wave Extended Reality Creator Hackathon, a total of five teams were declared winners, comprising students, professionals, and entrepreneurs.
This hackathon was a part of the Create in India Challenge Season-1, launched as a segment of the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES), organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in collaboration with Wavelabs.
The objective of the hackathon was to boost India’s presence in immersive technology across five thematic categories.
Over 2,200 participants from across the country registered for the event, which covered sectors like healthcare, education, tourism, digital media, and e-commerce.
