  • American aerospace company Vast has signed an agreement with NASA for its sixth private astronaut mission (PAM) to the International Space Station (ISS), set to launch no earlier than summer 2027 from Florida. The crew will spend up to 14 days aboard the ISS, traveling via SpaceX’s Falcon 9 and Dragon spacecraft.
  • This mission will support science-led experiments in biology, physical sciences, human research, and technology demonstrations, while helping Vast prepare for its Haven-1 commercial space station planned for 2027. CEO Max Haot emphasized that the mission will advance operational experience for fully commercial orbital stations and expand the global space economy, including potential collaborations with India.
