On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, the tableau of the Information Department won first place in the state-level main event held at the Parade Ground. The tableau was based on the theme of the 38th National Games and the traditional game of Uttarakhand, Mallakhamb.
Governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh (Retd) and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami felicitated Director General of Information Department Banshidhar Tiwari for the first position of the tableau.
