Australian opener Usman Khawaja has announced that he will retire from international cricket after the fifth and final Ashes Test against England at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The match will be his 88th and last Test appearance, fittingly at the venue where his first-class career began. At the age of 39, Khawaja brings to a close a Test career that started in 2011.
