US, UK, and Australia form a new trilateral security partnership to build Australia’s SSN-AUKUS submarines, enhancing defense cooperation.
Australia’s ASC and UK-based BAE Systems will collaborate to construct the SSN-AUKUS submarines, fostering industrial base collaboration.
The SSN-AUKUS submarines will be equipped for intelligence, surveillance, undersea warfare, and strike missions, enhancing interoperability among AUKUS partners.
The project aims to generate economic growth in defense and national security sectors across all three countries, with significant investments being made to ensure success and integration of industrial bases.
