October 24 commemorates the United Nations Day.
United Nations Day, on 24 October, marks the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the UN Charter.
The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945. At present, there are 193 Member States. The UN is guided by the purposes and principles contained in its founding Charter which was signed in 1945.
