  • Union Minister Manohar Lal inaugurated GRIDCON 2025 at IICC Yashobhoomi, Dwarka on March 9, 2025, which is an international conference and exhibition focused on innovation and sustainability in the power sector. 
  • This three-day event (March 9-11) is organized by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) in collaboration with CIGRE India, with participation from over 2000 delegates, 150+ technical papers, and 150+ exhibiting companies. 
  • Under the theme 'Innovation in Grid Resilience,' the conference focuses on grid modernization, renewable energy integration, and digital transformation, which will strengthen India’s energy security and sustainability goals.
