Union Minister Jitendra Singh launched India's first 'Himalayan High-Altitude Atmospheric & Climate Centre' at Nathatop, Udhampur, to improve weather forecasting and climate research in the Himalayan region.
This landmark initiative aims to provide accurate climate and weather forecasts, as well as conduct research and study of the region's unique high-altitude conditions.
