  • The 20th Meeting of National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) was held on April 09, 2022 at Pakke Tiger Reserve in Arunachal Pradesh.
  • The meeting was chaired by Union Minister for Environment, Forest & Climate Change Shri Bhupender Yadav.
  • It is for the first time in history the NTCA meeting, that it took place outside the national capital.
  • The Union Minister had directed that in order to get first hand information about reserve, local issues etc. these meetings will be held outside Delhi in forest areas or in tiger reserves, henceforth.
