  • MANAS stands for Madak Padarth Nisedh Asuchna Kendra or Narcotics Prohibition Intelligence Centre, aiming to enable citizens to report illegal narcotics activities and related issues.
  • The helpline and email service are part of efforts to enhance public participation in combating the illegal narcotics trade, with participation expected from Central and State anti-narcotics agencies, special bureaus, and police departments.
