The grand celebrations of Unani Day 2026 and the two-day National Conference on “Innovation and Evidence in Unani Practice” concluded at the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, Mumbai. The event brought together scholars, policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and students to discuss the future of Unani medicine in evidence-based healthcare.
Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav inaugurated the scientific workshop and the renovated Co-location Centre of the Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM) at J. J. Hospital. Prof. Asim Ali Khan, President of the Board of Unani, Siddha & Sowa-Rigpa (BUSS), highlighted the need for academic strengthening, innovation, and scientific validation for global recognition of Unani medicine.
