Turkey's first astronaut and three European crew members launched from Florida on 18 January.
The mission is a commercially arranged venture by Texas startup Axiom Space.
A SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule atop a Falcon 9 rocket took off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
The planned 36-hour flight aims to reach the International Space Station (ISS).
The autonomously operated Crew Dragon is set to dock with the ISS on 20 January 2024 morning.
