v  This day was chosen because in the year 1949, on this day on September 14, the Constituent Assembly accepted Hindi as the official language. After this, to remember this historic day, the country's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru decided to celebrate 14 September as Hindi Diwas.

v  The special thing about Hindi is that the way a word is pronounced in it, it is written in the same way.

v  Hindi is one of the official languages ​​of India and is commonly used by the people of North India. Apart from this, Hindi is also spoken in countries like Mauritius, Fiji, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and Nepal.

v  Fiji is an island country located in Oceania in the South Pacific Ocean. You will be surprised to know but Hindi has been given the status of official language in Fiji. It is also called Fijian Hindi or Fijian Hindustani.
