The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has announced the 'Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana'. Under this scheme, 1 crore families of the country will get solar energy on the roof of their house.
The central government will launch "Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana" with a target of installing rooftop solar systems on the roof of 1 crore houses
This will not only reduce the electricity bills of the poor and middle class, but it will also make India self-sufficient in the field of energy.
