The Indian Air Force will demonstrate its firepower in Pokhran on 17 February

The full spectrum of combat and fire capabilities will be showcased during the Vayu Shakti-2024 exercise.
The equipment will include new aircraft like Light Combat Helicopter, Combat Helicopter, Rafale.
The exercise will include support aircraft, stand-by assets on the ground.
The aim of the exercise is to showcase the capabilities of Indian aerospace power.
It will see participation of more than 100 aircraft including 'Tejas', 'Dhruv', 'Prachanda', Rafale, Jaguar, Mirage-2000, Su-30 MKI.
After the Vayu Shakti-2019 exercise, this exercise is being carried out with the tagline of 'Lightning from the sky'.
The exercise will have air-to-air, air-to-ground, unguided weapons, guided weapons, long-range weapons.
Various missiles using Rafale and Tejas platforms will also be showcased.
Aircraft of various modern and old platforms will be used for the exercise.
