  • The full spectrum of combat and fire capabilities will be showcased during the Vayu Shakti-2024 exercise.
  • The equipment will include new aircraft like Light Combat Helicopter, Combat Helicopter, Rafale.
  • The exercise will include support aircraft, stand-by assets on the ground.
  • The aim of the exercise is to showcase the capabilities of Indian aerospace power.
  • It will see participation of more than 100 aircraft including 'Tejas', 'Dhruv', 'Prachanda', Rafale, Jaguar, Mirage-2000, Su-30 MKI.
  • After the Vayu Shakti-2019 exercise, this exercise is being carried out with the tagline of 'Lightning from the sky'.
  • The exercise will have air-to-air, air-to-ground, unguided weapons, guided weapons, long-range weapons.
  • Various missiles using Rafale and Tejas platforms will also be showcased.
  • Aircraft of various modern and old platforms will be used for the exercise.
