  • In January 2024, the country's first all-girl Sainik School has been opened in Vrindavan, Mathura.
  • This all-girls school was inaugurated by Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
  • Its name is Sanvid Gurukulam Girls Sainik School.
  • The opening of such schools was announced by the Prime Minister in August, 2023.
  • The session of this school will start from April.
  • In this, three batches of daughters will be made.
  • Daughters should get C.B.S.E. Along with education, military education, and sports training will be provided.
  • 100 such schools will be opened in the country.
