The Telangana government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Skyroot Aerospace, a Hyderabad-based company specialising in space technology. Chief Minister A.
Revanth Reddy and IT & Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu oversaw the signing of the MoU at the Telangana pavilion at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual conference 2025.
The agreement envisages Skyroot establishing an integrated private rocket manufacturing, integration, and testing facility in Telangana.
This facility is expected to be one of the largest of its kind in the private sector, with Skyroot investing around ₹500 crore in the project.
