Syria clinched the 4th Intercontinental Cup by defeating India 3-0 in the final round-robin match, with Syrian captain Mahmoud Al-Mawas earning both the winners' trophy and the Syed Abdul Rahim Player of the Tournament award.
The 2024 Intercontinental Cup, held from 3 to 9 September at GMC Balayogi Stadium in Hyderabad, featured Syria, India, and Mauritius competing in a round-robin format.
