The unemployment rate in rural areas has slightly decreased from 4.3% to 4.2% (as per PLFS Annual Report 2024).
The labour force participation rate in urban areas has increased from 50.3% to over 51%, and the worker-population ratio has also improved from 47% to 47.6%.
