Romania, Bulgaria, and Greece signed a pact to facilitate rapid cross-border movement of troops and weapons to NATO's eastern flank, addressing increased urgency post-Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
The deal aims to eliminate red tape hindering troop movements across Europe, enhancing NATO and EU's ability to quickly deploy reinforcements in case of conflict with Moscow.
The agreement includes a harmonized military mobility corridor between the three NATO and EU states, one of two such corridors agreed upon during the NATO summit in Washington.
