  • India's flamboyant wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant has become the fastest Indian wicketkeeper to take 100 Test wickets on the third day of the first Test against South Africa at Centurion's SuperSport Park.
  • Rishabh Pant has broken the record held by Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Wriddhiman Saha for most Test wickets in a season as an Indian wicketkeeper.
  • Rishabh Pant achieved this incredible feat in his 26th Test by catching Temba Bavuma behind the stumps. MS Dhoni and Saha played 36 Tests to achieve this figure.
  • Pant made his Test debut for India in 2018, and with his explosive batting down the order, he quickly established himself as an important member of the India Test squad.
  • Apart from this, he has been selected as the first 'ICC Player of the Month' in January this year.
