The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has appointed Dr Renu Singh as the next Director of Forest Research Institute (FRI) in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
She will be the institute's second woman director.
Dr Renu is 1990 batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre.
Forest Research Institute (FRI) Dehradun, is a premier institute under the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE).
