  • Reliance Retail Ventures (RRVL), the retail arm of Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries (RIL), has roped in R S Sodhi, dairy industry veteran and former MD of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF).
  • GDMMF sells milk and other value-added milk products under the brand Amul.
  • RS Sodhi joined GCMMF in 1982 as a Senior Sales Executive after completing his studies at the Institute of Rural Management Anand.
  • He served as the Managing Director of GCMMF for more than twelve years and stepped down from the position in January this year.
  • He completed his BE in Agricultural Engineering in 1980 and then opted for a PG Diploma course from the Institute of Rural Management Anand.
