Reliance Retail Ventures (RRVL), the retail arm of Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries (RIL), has roped in R S Sodhi, dairy industry veteran and former MD of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF).
GDMMF sells milk and other value-added milk products under the brand Amul.
RS Sodhi joined GCMMF in 1982 as a Senior Sales Executive after completing his studies at the Institute of Rural Management Anand.
He served as the Managing Director of GCMMF for more than twelve years and stepped down from the position in January this year.
He completed his BE in Agricultural Engineering in 1980 and then opted for a PG Diploma course from the Institute of Rural Management Anand.
