'Tehreek-e-Hurriyat' is an organization of Jammu and Kashmir.
Recently the Central Government has banned 'Tehreek-e-Hurriyat' organization.
This ban has been imposed by the Union Home Ministry.
The Union Home Ministry has banned this organization under the U.A.P.A. Act.
The U.A.P.A. Act was passed by the Parliament in the year 1967.
'Tehreek-e-Hurriyat organization is involved in prohibited activities of separating Jammu and Kashmir from India and establishing Islamic rule.
This group is spreading anti-India propaganda to promote separatism in Jammu and Kashmir.
Under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (U.A.P.A.), the central government can declare any organization as 'unlawful' or 'terrorist'.
