Abhra missile system is a system indigenously developed by India.
Recently the Abhra missile system has been deployed on I.N.S. Vikrant.
I.N.S. Vikrant is an aircraft carrier warship of the Indian Navy.
Abhra missile is a medium-range surface-to-air missile (MRSAM).
It is a joint venture between DRDO and Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI).
It is produced in Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL).
It is designed to destroy enemy aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles and drones at a range of 70 km.
The speed of this missile is 2448 kilometers per hour.
Due to the high speed of the missile, the enemy is not able to trace it and the radio frequency seeker installed in it also helps in killing the enemy.
Even if the enemy vehicle is using radio to dodge, this missile will kill it.
