MedTech Mitra initiative has been launched by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya in December 2023.
It is a strategic initiative to empower innovators and advance healthcare solutions.
It will facilitate indigenous development of affordable, quality medtech devices and diagnostics.
India is taking a holistic approach to health with the aim of transforming the country's health system by 2047.
Medtech in India will become a $50 billion industry by 2030.
