6 Indian historical sites have been honored with UNESCO Asia-Pacific Award in December 2023.
Historic sites included are Rambagh Gate and Ramparts, Church of the Epiphany, Peepal Haveli, Karnikara Mandapam, David Sassoon Library and Bikaner House.

Peepal Haveli - Gurudaspur
Karnikara Mandapam – Kerala
Karnikara Mandapam is located in the Bhagavathi Temple, Kerala.
David Sassoon Library - Mumbai
Bikaner House - New Delhi.
The UNESCO Asia-Pacific Award for Cultural Heritage Conservation was established in 2000.
The purpose of this award is to promote the conservation of such cultural heritage areas, whose conservation efforts have been initiated by an individual or organization.
