The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced that it has constituted a committee to develop a framework for responsible and ethical enablement of Artificial Intelligence (FREE-AI) in the financial sector.
The committee will be headed by Professor Pushpak Bhattacharya of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay.
The committee includes key members including NITI Aayog Fellow Debjani Ghosh, IIT Madras' Balaraman Ravindran, and HDFC Bank's Anjani Rathore.
