  • For the first time, Indian Railways successfully operated two long-distance freight trains, "Trishul" and "Garuda," on South Central Railway.
  • Long haul trains are twice or more than twice as long as standard freight trains.
  • This train ran from Vijayawada division's Kondapalli station to East Coast Railway's Khurda division (ECR).
  • SCR is one of Indian Railways' five major freight loading railways.
