The Punjab government plans to develop the Jhajjar-Bachauli Wildlife Sanctuary into the state's first Leopard Safari destination to promote eco-tourism and wildlife conservation.
The state budget for 2025-26 also includes a provision of Rs. 10 Crore for the development of Nangal as a major tourist spot in Punjab.
