  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the Madhav Netralaya Premium Center in Nagpur, which will be built at a cost of ₹517 crore. 
  • The 250-bed hospital will have 14 OPDs and 14 modular operation theaters, providing affordable eye care facilities to the poor and needy. 
  • Madhav Netralaya was established in memory of Madhav Sadashivrao Golwalkar (Guruji), the second Sarsanghchalak of the RSS.
