Prime Minister launches projects worth Rs. 2,000 Crores in Solapur, Maharashtra under the AMRUT initiative

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for 8 Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) projects in Solapur, Maharashtra, totaling around Rs. 2,000 crores.
Over 90,000 houses completed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) in Maharashtra were dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister.
The dedication also included 15,000 houses of Raynagar Housing Society in Solapur, benefiting handloom workers, vendors, power loom workers, rag pickers, Bidi workers, drivers, and others.
The Prime Minister initiated the distribution of the 1st and 2nd installments to 10,000 beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Street Vendors' AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM-SVANIDHI) in Maharashtra during the event.
PM Modi highlighted the nation's mood of devotion with the upcoming Pran Pratishtha at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
Expressing commitment to the 11-day anushthan under the guidance of saints and seers, PM Modi noted the initiation of the special ritual at Panchwati in Nashik, Maharashtra.
More than one lakh families in Maharashtra are celebrating their 'Grih Pravesh' coinciding with this period of devotion.
