At the Paris Paralympics 2024, Indian athlete Priti Pal won the bronze medal in the final of the women's 200m T-35 event with a time of 30.01 seconds. With this, Preity has become the first Indian woman to win two Paralympic medals in athletics.
Indian athlete Nishad Kumar has won a silver medal in the men's high jump – T47 event with a height of 2.04 meters.
