Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the 49th meeting of PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation), reviewing eight critical infrastructure projects worth over Rs 65,000 crore across 15 States and Union Territories. The projects span sectors including Mines, Railways, Water Resources, Industrial Corridors, and Power. PM Modi emphasized timely completion, quality standards, inter-agency coordination, and prompt resolution of bottlenecks such as land acquisition and environmental clearances. PRAGATI, an ICT-enabled platform, ensures efficient monitoring and faster execution of key projects to boost economic growth and improve citizen services.
