  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the theme for International Yoga Day 2025 will be "Yoga for One Earth, One Health", reflecting the importance of global health and yoga. 
  • The United Nations declared June 21 as International Yoga Day with the aim of raising awareness worldwide about the numerous benefits of practicing yoga. 
  • It was first celebrated in 2015.
