  • Pakistan's Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) launched Pakistan's first indigenous electro-optical (EO-1) satellite on January 17, 2025, from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northern China. 
  • Pakistan has named it PRSC-EO1, the satellite will use electro-optical sensors to collect data and images of the Earth's surface by detecting and measuring reflected sunlight or emitted radiation.
