The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the extension of the tenure of Equitas Small Finance Bank (SFB) Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) P.N. Vasudevan for one year beginning from July 23.
Vasudevan founded Equitas in 2007 as a microfinance institution (MFI).
He is also the Managing Director of Equitas, which began as a micro finance institution in 2007 and was later converted into bank in 2016.
