  • The Delhi government's free bus travel scheme will only be available to women who reside in the national capital. 
  • The transport department is set to begin issuing 'smart cards' to provide free bus travel for women in Delhi, which will be valid for 'lifetime'. 
  • The 'AAP' introduced the pink ticket scheme on the occasion of Bhai Dooj in 2019, under which women are provided free travel in Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses.
